Heritage Tile Project 2017

In 2017, we celebrated 1000 years of Christian worship on the site of St Edith's Church with a community-based heritage tile project, funded by the Heritage Fund and other local businesses. Hundreds of individuals took part in making their own clay tile, expertly facilitated by local ceramic artist, Lesley French. The tiles were then mounted into panels and hung in the Baptistry and inside and outside the Trinity Room.
